Medscape Education’s Podcast “Hear from Her” Wins Gold Award from the AVA Digital Awards

Medscape Education’s new podcast, “Hear From Her: The Women in Healthcare Leadership Series,” has been awarded Gold in the annual AVA Digital Awards.

The series showcases the experiences, perspectives, and insights of women leaders in healthcare, and provides a platform for dialogue and networking for those who support advances in women’s health and gender equality and leadership development in healthcare.

Season One explored topics including the headwinds being faced in advancing women’s healthcare, from significant gaps in research and development to specific challenges within specialties such as cardiology, oncology, neurology, and more. We learned about the challenges for female physicians who want to move into leadership and the important role that both mentorship and sponsorship can play in helping to elevate women in the workplace and close the gender gap. “Hear From Her” wrapped its first season with 6 episodes, reaching listeners in over 30 countries; Season Two is already underway and will launch in early 2024.
