Product Updates

Medscape AI delivers instant clinically trusted expertise and efficiency by allowing clinicians to use natural language to rapidly search trusted guidelines and evidence-based care across Medscape and nearly 400 top PubMed journals. Its key value lies in reducing administrative burden by providing effortless article summarization and a free, HIPAA-compliant AI Scribe (for US members) to instantly transcribe and summarize patient visits, saving critical time and combating burnout. This suite establishes Medscape as the essential, free, and trusted source for both knowledge and productivity at the point of care.

  • The upcoming integration of Medscape News & Perspectives will expand our offering even further.

ChatMedEd

Introducing a new one-sheet for ChatMedEd, our latest AI-powered solution designed to simplify complexity and help learners quickly access trusted answers from Medscape's content. This one-sheet provides an overview of how ChatMEDed delivers personalized learning and rapid, referenced answers, offering a customized experience that shows educational needs through insights into a deeper understanding of educational gaps, needs and learner behavior.

Sponsorship Updates

Food Fight & National Scleroderma Foundation Collaboration

October was a busy month for Rare Disease, with our very own Jennifer Bomberger hosting a riveting discussion with Dr. Tracy Fench and patient warrior, She Shutes, "Rare but Resilient: Understanding Scleroderma,"  exploring delays in diagnosis, daily challenges, and the importance of awareness and clinician education.

In partnership with the National Scleroderma Foundation, Medscape also sponsored the Food Fight Event on Oct 18th, supporting scleroderma awareness.

Game On: Medscape Education Golfs for a Cause

Medscape Education sponsored the National Kidney Foundation’s NKF Golf Classic, a 36‑year charity event that raises over $3M annually to support patients with kidney disease.

This sponsorship and our five nephrology scientific posters in 2025 underscore Medscape’s ongoing commitment to advancing kidney care, clinician education, and better patient outcomes.

Key Initiatives

Rare Disease

For the first time, Medscape Education had a booth at this year’s World Orphan Drug Congress in Amsterdam, held October 27–29. As a leading event for Pharma and Biotech, it offered an excellent opportunity to engage with key stakeholders in the rare disease space. We showcased our leadership in rare disease education at the booth, and Christy presented three posters, centered around real-world outcomes.

Patient Integration

We are in the process of updating the Oncology Patient Whitepaper. This will be ready for ESMO 2025. Stay tuned! In the meantime, did you miss the write-up following the MAPS roundtable earlier this year? Click below to read the full write-up.

Precision Oncology

The PIONEER Learning Center launched last month, and at ESMO, we marked the occasion with a special event at our booth featuring a ChatMedEd kiosk. Attendees had the opportunity to experience ChatMedEd live, enjoy canapes and refreshments. Head back up to the conferences and events section to learn more in the ESMO tab!

The social giants are stirring things up. Meta is fine-tuning how brands can show up, Threads is testing new ways to spark conversation, and Pinterest is nudging its platform into the world of education. From ads to communities to classrooms, the latest moves show how platforms are evolving beyond their roots - and hint at where user attention might be headed next.

Season 4 is in full swing, with three episodes released featuring outstanding women leaders. This season so far spotlights key therapeutic areas including Parkinson’s disease, menopause, and neurology.
